Dr Tibor Navracsics serves as the Commissioner of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport since 2014. He received his Law degree from the Loránd Eötvös University School of Law and Political Sciences in Budapest in 1990. He taught as a Senior Lecturer at Loránd Eötvös University, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, from 1997 to 1999. He obtained his PhD degree in Political Science from Loránd Eötvös University in 1999 following the approval of his dissertation “European Domestic Politics: Political Science Analysis of the European Union”. Dr Navracsics served in the Prime Minister’s Office as Head of Department from 1998 to 2002. Prior to his current position, he also held positions as Member of Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Public Administration and Justice and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
