Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA)
Dr Natalia Bichurina is President of the Eurasian chapter of the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) and Senior researcher at the University of Lausanne. She has studied and worked in Russia, UK, France, Italy, Australia and Switzerland. In 2016, she defended her Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate “Interzones” dissertation in Sociolinguistics and Cultural anthropology, at the universities of Perpignan, Bergamo and Sydney. She holds her Master’s degrees in Linguistics, Letters and Sociology (Saint Petersburg State University, French University College, University of Saint Andrews, University of Perpignan) and a degree in Cultural Anthropology (European University at Saint Petersburg). She received research funding from the Swiss Government, the Swiss National Science Foundation, the French Government, and the European Union. Serving as President of EMA in Eurasia since 2015, she has been working on the internationalisation of higher education, organising around 40 events annually across Eurasia.
