Réka TÓZSA, a Hungarian national, joined ASEF’s Education Department in 2017. Réka leads ASEF’s Education Policy Programme, which includes the ASEF Regional Conference on Higher Education (#ARC), the ASEF Higher Education Innovation Laboratories (#ASEFInnolabs) and ASEF’s Capacity Building Trainings for higher education professionals.

Réka started her professional career as a government official, working on civil service training systems and on the reform of higher education policy of the Hungarian Government. She was appointed to Chief of Cabinet of the Deputy State Secretary for Higher Education and to staff member of the Hungarian EU Presidency.

Prior to joining ASEF, Reka was the Head of International Office at the National University of Public Service (NUPS) in Hungary, responsible for international student and staff mobility, strategic partnerships, and the international branding of the university.

Réka obtained her first degree in Public Administration from the Corvinus University of Budapest, and her MPA degree from the National University of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
